Carroll Engineering’s Surveying Department provides a comprehensive range of professional surveying services to support projects from planning through construction. Our services include topographic and boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS land title surveys, and construction stakeout for site improvements such as utilities, curbing, and drainage basins. We also perform house-line surveying services, including permit plans, foundation layouts, and final as-constructed plans.
We prepare detailed as-built surveys for site improvements, including utility and basin as-constructed surveys, as well as easement and right-of-way acquisition plans.

Riverview At New Bridge Landing
Borough of River Edge, Bergen County, NJ
CEC was contracted to issue an “As-Built Survey” with impervious coverage computation and an ADA compliance study for an apartment complex in the Borough of River Edge. Bergen County has one of the strictest review processes in the state of NJ. Nothing on the market can rival the accuracy and efficiency of point cloud data from a terrestrial 3-D Laser Scan. 3 days of conventional surveying was replaced with 1 day of laser scanning, without the need for return site visits and the possible misinterpretation of conventional survey methods.
