Position Type: Full-Time
Requirements:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- 10+ years of experience with Municipal Engineering, Municipal Client Representation, Subdivision and Land Development Plan and Stormwater/Drainage Plan Review, MS-4 Programs (including PRPs) on behalf of municipal clients, and Public Works Design.
- Some AutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer in PA is required.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Municipal client representation as Township or Borough engineer, serving as a primary or supporting municipal consultant
- Attend and participate in municipal meetings to represent clients
- Project management to review development plans for conformance with local ordinances, including subdivision and land development, zoning, grading, stormwater, escrow accounts, construction administration
- Project engineering design for stormwater and detention basin, and infrastructure rehabilitation, various state and local permitting
- Technical writing of reports such as technical memos, feasibility studies, and engineering assessment and design reports
- Construction support services, such as contract administration, project coordination, permitting, and budget management
- Prior experience with municipal account management in either a primary or backup role
- Retention and development of Client relationships
- Perform business development to help facilitate growth in the area of municipal and utility engineering
